KUALA LUMPUR – In line with the advancement in technology and for customers’ convenience, FOMEMA, in collaboration with Pos Malaysia Berhad (“Pos Malaysia”), has introduced an online payment channel for its customers whereby foreign workers’ agents and employers can make payments for foreign workers’ medical screening fees through Pos Online. This is in addition to the payment methods using Banker’s Cheque / Bank Draft and Money Order at Post Offices and CIMB Clicks.
Dato’ Mohd Hatar Bin Ismail, President / Chief Executive Officer, Unitab Medic Sdn. Bhd. (FOMEMA) said, “We always believe that customers’ satisfaction and convenience will give positive results to the business and as such, FOMEMA is providing the customers more payment options by introducing payments of fees for foreign workers’ medical examination via Pos Online, a portal hosted by Pos Malaysia at www.posonline.com.my available 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week,” he told the media recently.
“Moreover, it is our business responsibility to improve efficiency by accommodating to our customers’ needs for convenience and faster services at the comfort of their homes and offices, just like online shopping nowadays,” he added.

“Pos Online customers will get to experience an improved data accuracy and automated receipt and payment processing to manage and streamline dispute with Pos Malaysia and FOMEMA. In addition, electronic payment system makes it easier for employers to track and monitor data to ensure adherence to complex compliance regulations and all business rules,” he added.

Kuala Lumpur – Spending Friday night with more than 300 people in Jalan Medan Tuanku, FOMEMA employees lead by Deputy Chief Officer, Dato’ Dr. Kreeson in collaboration with established NGO in Malaysia, Pertiwi Soup Kitchen has successfully gives their hand on free medical check-up service and also foods distribution to the homeless people. More than 300 packs of hot pack foods, biscuits, drinking water, buns and snacks were distributed during the recent CSR Programme held at Pusat Gelandangan, Jalan Medan Tuanku that started from 9.00 p.m. until midnight.
The President / CEO Unitab Medic Sdn. Bhd. (FOMEMA), Dato’ Mohd Hatar Ismail said, “Two years has passed since our first Homeless CSR programme in 2014, we are glad that we are still on track and have the opportunity to accomplished the programme as planned. As a fresh start to 2016, we are expanding our CSR programme with the homeless people by giving them a free medical check-up service. Through this community service programme, we aimed to educate this people on the importance of hygiene, healthy diet and lifestyle in order to prevent any diseases that are high risk to be infected mostly at dirty and unhygienic places”.
This programme serves as an umbrella for FOMEMA’s initiative to help the community as going forward, we would focus more to the activity that could bring impact because we believe this is the time for us to contribute back to the needy people. We really hope by doing this kind of activities, it will attract and encourage others to contribute and do the same. We are so happy that this programme went very well and we managed to help the homeless to supply the most important things in life, foods. This might be our first, but definitely not the last one, collaboration with Pertiwi Soup Kitchen Malaysia and more project to come as we would continue support Pertiwi Soup Kitchen in their endeavors.”
