Bentong, Pahang – Unitab Medic Sdn. Bhd. takes the opportunity to organise a Mini Carnival "Moh Santai” 2014 to further strengthen the community relations with Yang Amat Mulia Tengku Arif Bendahara Pahang Tengku Abdullah Ibni Sultan Abu Bakar who has graciously inaugurated the football and netball tournament.  The CSR Programmes was also attended by YB Dato’ Seri Liow Tiong Lai, Minister of Transport & Member of Parliament for Bentong, Pahang which is a success collaborations between Unitab Medic Sdn. Bhd., Persatuan Belia Sikh Bentong and Majlis Belia Daerah Bentong.   

For the second year time, Unitab Medic Sdn. Bhd. realised as part of the company’s CSR Programme, the event, which consist of football tournament and netball match, is a perfect opportunity now to demonstrate just how far we have come and to strengthen the links between us not only to the employee but also to the community in Bentong.  "The game will be played in the spirit of friendship and co-operation and I am sure it will prove to be a memorable and entertaining occasion.  It really doesn't matter who wins the game, it's an opportunity to bring together two different groups of people within the community to share a common interest and passion”, said Encik Mohd Hatar Ismail, the President / CEO of Unitab Medic Sdn. Bhd..

The Mini Carnival "Moh Santai” started with a lively football game between 20 teams representing several private organisations and non-profit organisations from Kuala Lumpur and Bentong kicks off at 8.30 a.m. in the morning at Padang Bola Dataran Bentong Pahang followed by the arrival of YB Dato’ Seri Liow Tiong Lai and the inaugural session by Yang Amat Mulia Tengku Arif Bendahara Pahang.  The event that was held on Sunday occupied with many activities for the youth, the childrens and donations which were given to 150 of Bentong senior citizen and school bags to the needy childrens.

As the games are played with the spirit of friendship and cooperation, Unitab Medic Sdn Bhd takes the programme as a meaningful and entertaining community event to end the year of 2014 not to forget to encourage more corporate organisations in taking the same initiative to engage more CSR programmes in the future.

Kuala Lumpur - Unitab Medic (FOMEMA) today shared the barakah (blessings) of the holy month of Ramadhan with orphans and tahfiz student in Majlis Berbuka Puasa ‘Cahaya Ramadhan’ held at InterContinental Kuala Lumpur, here.  The event attended by 200 over guests including the employees, corporate clients and 60 children from Madrasah Syazwan Lil Banat were also invited to join in the annual charity Ramadan break fast event.

This is the second time the company held this annual event, the staff and management of Unitab Medic (FOMEMA) finds it very meaningful to help the underprivileged ones, especially during the Holy month of Ramadan.  The highlight of the night was the presentation of ‘Duit Raya’ to the orphans and tahfiz student. Upon receiving the early Raya treats, the children’s faces were beaming with joy and smiles as Yang Amat Mulia Tengku Abdullah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar, the Chairman of Unitab Medic Sdn. Bhd presented ‘Duit Raya’ to all the children.

The event started with the recitation of doa by one of the tahfiz student from the orphanage.  The evening continued with a welcoming speech by YBhg. Jen. Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Suleiman Mahmud, the Chairman of FOMEMA and followed by Tazkirah Ramadhan by the invited speaker before heading for the Maghrib prayers.  During the event, the children also showcased their talent by performing Nasyid to the guest.

“During the Muslim’s Holy Ramadan month, good deeds should be done more than ever. Regardless their religions or status, we are glad that we are able to do something for these marginalized groups of people, as they simply deserved something much better than what they are having now. It is our duty as a responsible organisation and citizen, as our company believes in the spirit of sharing and caring when these underprivileged children need more love and attention.  We hope that through this humble gesture, we may invite more organisation to give attentions to the needy children”, said Tan Sri Suleiman Mahmud during the buka puasa event.

Tan Sri Suleiman also added that the company’s main objective is to remember the less fortunate children come this season of giving and sharing and to be a part of wonderful festive.
