Chairman Yang Amat Mulia Tengku Arif Bendahara Pahang Tengku Tan Sri Abdullah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar presenting duit raya to children from Madrasah Tahfiz Syazwan Lil Banat. FOMEMA Sdn. Bhd. held a 'Ramadhan Kareem' the yearly event to share the blessings of Ramadhan with orphans and tahfiz students. It was attended by more than 300 guests at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Also present at the Majlis berbuka puasa was Unitab Medic Sdn. Bhd, President/Chief Executive Officer Dato' Mohd Hatar Bin Ismail in celebrating all the staff.
It was a success for Unitab Medic Sdn. Bhd.’s first attempt in giving free basic physical medical check-up to the flood victims recently here in Pekan Pahang. Therefore, for the second round led by Unitab Medic Sdn. Bhd.’s Senior Vice President Of Operations Dr. Kreeson Vengadeson, they have decided to come again and do in a bigger scale today. Together with his team, Medical Officer of FOMEMA Dr. Hema Apanna and Vice President of X-ray Quality Control Centre, Dr. Christina Angeline Louis. they managed to carry out their primary healthcare services for all the flood victims at 1 flood relief centre in Sekolah Kebangsaan Batu Kapur, Mentakab Pahang where around 400 victims are placed here.
This good humanitarian initiative was suggested by the Chairman of Unitab Medic Sdn. Bhd., Yang Amat Mulia Tengku Abdullah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar during His first visit in Paloh Inai, Pahang last week. As a continuous responsibility, all the flood victims including the childrens, senior citizen and disable people were provided with a free medical check-up as well as medicines. The doctors also briefed the flood victims about the measures to be taken to avoid spread of water borne diseases, maintenance of good personal hygiene and oral hygiene.
Other than that, Unitab Medic Sdn. Bhd. also distributed toiletries amenities from the company to all the victims including toothbrush set, soaps, sanitiser, shampoos, shaver kits and mineral water.
The second stage of Unitab Medic Sdn. Bhd.’s medical boot camp for flood victims 2015 is held due to the recent findings on the first medical boot camp on 8th January 2015. Based on the check-ups done some of the children, adult and senior citizen have been infected with fungal infection, common flue, acute gastroenteritis, high blood pressure, diabetes and body ache (muscle pain). Our team is always ready to serve the affected people and thus every possible step would be taken to serve these flood victims in Pahang and other areas. The team also resolved and reiterated about making their help available to other flood affected areas.
While the CSR Programme provided them access to public health services and brought happiness to the hearts of caregivers and receivers, Unitab Medic Sdn. Bhd. will always stand by the distressed as part of its social responsibility to the community in the future.
